Before you leave your lodge
Your ticket is a mobile ticket, so charge your phone and keep the GetYourGuide app handy. The voucher carries the starting time for your date and the WhatsApp number for dietary requests.
The pickup
A complimentary transfer collects guests staying in Victoria Falls town, Zimbabwe, within a 5 km radius. If you are staying in Livingstone, Zambia, the dinner cruise does not collect you.
The waterfront
Boats leave from the Pure Africa Waterfront on the Zambezi. A national-park fee is payable directly at check-in, so settle that before you step aboard.
Your first drink
Once the boat is under way your favourite drink is poured, and you are shown to a set table. Drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are part of the cruise.
Dinner and the light
Four courses are prepared fresh on board and served while the sun goes down. The operator mentions elephant silhouettes and hippo sounds from the water, though no sighting can be promised.
The drive back
After three hours the boat returns to the waterfront and the transfer takes you back to your hotel or lodge. Tips for the crew are not included in the fare.
